Refund Policy
Cancellation and Payment Policy
Effective Date: April 29, 2025
At Airlanta, students are billed after each completed lesson. To keep scheduling fair and efficient for all students, the following cancellation and billing policies apply:
1. Standard Payment Policy
Students pay for lessons after each session is completed, whether it is a ground or flight lesson.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will not incur any charges. Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled lesson will result in the following charges:
i) For scheduled ground lessons: You will be charged one hour of ground instruction at the current ground instruction rate.
ii) For scheduled flight lessons: You will be charged for the aircraft rental cost based on the amount of flight time you had reserved.
3. Exceptions to the 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Exceptions may be made if the cancellation is due to unavoidable circumstances such as:
i) Weather conditions
ii) Aircraft maintenance issues
iii) Instructor scheduling conflicts
iiii) Personal emergencies with valid documentation (doctor's note, hospital records, or similar proof) Requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation.
4. No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without any prior notice will result in full billing for the reserved aircraft time (for flight lessons) or one hour of ground instruction (for ground lessons).
